| Main Recording Room |
The Main Recording Room is the largest of the four recording chambers at Songcrafters. It is large enough to hold a
50 piece choir and virtually any size band. |
 |
| The Stone Room |
The "Stone Room" features four walls of Mountain Stone. This unique room has lots of low end and transients adding bottom to
otherwise "thin" sounding instruments and voices. |
 |
| The Cedar Room |
The "Cedar Room" was built out of White Cedar lap siding to create yet another unique acoustical feel. This room is warm
and comfortable bringing out the subtleties of Acoustic Guitars and Violins, yet bright enough to aid in capturing the
clarity of Vocals and Brass. |
 |
| The Panel Room |
The Panel Room is a little bit harsh in comparison to the other rooms in the studio. But there are times when that's the
sound you need. However, with the addition of the absorption on the walls, the room becomes an excellent all purpose room
for voice overs, effects and crunchy guitar amps. |
 |
| The Control Room |
The Songcrafters Control Room was specifically designed for mixdown purposes. The Mackie HR824 Monitors reporduce sounds
from 20,000 Hz to 40 Hz. This series of monitors has a wide "sweet spot" allowing for longer mix sessions without ear fatigue. |
 |
| The Control Room Lounge |
When an artist is working on an overdub, vocal, or fix, everyone else in the group or family is looking to kick back and
relax between takes. The Control Room - Lounge features comfortable furniture, plants, and soft, indirect lighting to keep
everyone in a productive state of mind. |
 |
| Island of Gear |
The oak "Gear Island" in the middle of the control room houses many of the Synths and Samplers used by the Producers and
Arrangers at Songcrafters to add Strings, Brass, Keyboards, Drums, Bass and other "bells and whistles" to a
song. These devices are standing by, on call, for the clients use at any time. |
 |
| 6' Kawai Piano |
The six foot ebony Kawai KG-2D Grand Piano is one of the first things to make an impression on clients. The Kawai has the
ability to reproduce the "Rock/Pop" sound heard on many modern records, as well as the soft, mellow sounds of
many classical recordings all of which is ajudstable with Mic placement. |
